Why in this society homosexuality is condemned but most people are perfectly fine with pre-martial sex? The Bible condemns both stating it's against God's plan. This doesn't add up to me.

the bible was written by man thousands of years ago. things were taboo, times and circumstances change
People who are homosexuals love still, why are they bad for that, they have a deep inner drive to be with who they choose..

have fun in life while you can, if God would send you to eternal hell for being curious or giving into your g/f or b/f before marriage then God dosent understand the idea of knowing when he/she has gone to far..
it'd be the same as putting someone away in jail for life for steeling a cd from a store...

The Bible states alot of things, and they must be taken with a grain of salt, however. Pre-marital sex may be wrong according to the Bible I think a mature couple who both want to have sex may choose to do so without much repercussion from the big man upstairs.Homosexuality on the other hand is having sex with a person of the same sex, which is quite a bit different, don't you think?

Hmm thats a good point. Its cuz ppl are dumb. haha...no honestly all I can say is that its because people are selfish. They want to get some so they try to go around whatever they can to get it. Since most people are not homosexuals then they dont care for those people and they see them as a possible threat in the future. In politics and society in general. Therefore, they say no to homosexuality and yes to pre-marital sex.

What you say is true, They are both wrong and sinful. I guess one reason people condemn homosexuals is because its gross to most people and pre-martial is not really that gross. But in reality they are both wrong and people need to stop compromising. You know what I mean.

Because this society is largely pagan. However, the Word of God lists homosexuality AND fornication as moral evils that will keep a person out of the Kingdom of God.

Human beings are not animals that function on instinct. We are made in the image of God with an eternal soul and the ability to reason and discern right from wrong. We are called to a higher state, we are called to love God. Fornication (sex outside of marriage) is wrong, because it perverts sex for physical pleasure. It causes people to use each other for their own selfish reasons, it causes unwanted pregnancy, and often results in abortions. And of course then there is STDs. Sex was created for marriage, the uniting of a husband and wife. It allows us to participate in the creation of life, with God. To reduce it to an animal urge, takes away from the beauty and fulfillment of the act. Waiting is good, giving into urges without any thought to the consequences is a much bigger problem. Good things come to those who wait. In fact, people who wait to have sex, and do not live together before marriage have less chance of divorce. Also...married couples who practice natural family planning (no birth control) have a 0% divorce rate!!

Both are bad. People just think it's ok to have pre-marital sex cause everyone else is. It is a sin though in God's eyes, as well as homosexuality.

You're going to get a lot of answers that claim "I disapprove of both"... but really, if you ask people what disturbs them more, which one they'd rather be without if they HAD to choose one... I promise, the vast majority would say "fags".
I just don't understand... gay people are... well... they're not monsters and they're not all that different. So they have a sex life some people wouldn't enjoy... big woop. It's consensual among adults and it's legal. Children aren't being hurt, animals are safe, it's not poluting the environment, it's not stealing bikes... what's the big deal??

I know hey!! Homosexuality gets put up on a pedastal for "being a sin", but the straight people condemning us go ahead and have their pre-marital sex. It's hypocritical, and stupid.

whoever says that premarital sex leads to only bad things is living in a well cos so many people have done it and are leading very happy lives now!
Plus imagine a marriage where you don't enjoy sex with your spouse.. that sucks and probably leads to negative outcomes!
I think we should always put things into perspective, believe what you think is relevant.. not everything cos many things that were said could well be outdated in today's context and cultures. Move forward!.. not backwards!
