Ok, so one of my brake lights/ tail lights went out. So when I was at wall- mart i bought the bulb to replace it. So I put it in and by brake light work great, all the exterrior lights... So I turn on my truck, and my speedometer lights dont work, and now when i hit my remote to lock the truck, none of the lights flash. All I did was replace that one tail light, and it threw the other stuff off. Please help me if you can, I am puzzled and I will refuse to bring it to a car store. By the way it is a 88 Dodge- Ramcharger.

88 ramcharger??? check all your fuses. There are very little computer functions on that thing even if it's a 318 tbi injected, no relation to tailights. The fuses are straight under steering column.

How do you know brake lites work?? Did somebody watch, did you check them at night when you could see them ???
Ther is a difference between brake lite / tail light. Tail lights work with head lite / parking lite on. Brake lite work with brake pedal depressed / turnsignal on / hazard signals on.
In Chrysler when dash lites go out it is a built in warning that there is a problem with your tail lites. I would guess something went wrong when you changed that bulb. Take it out and see what is the problem.

It o.k. ought to be the starter. quite considering you pronounced your battery is new and you cant jumpstart it, nicely that policies that out. extremely with reference to the only concern it ought to be may be the starter. despite the fact that if till now changing it i could provide jumpstarting it one greater shot. even in spite of the undeniable fact that your battery is new, verify the battery cables, determine which you do not have a bunch of corrosion on your battery terminals/battery posts. If there is this might reason a automobile to no longer initiate and supply indications of a ineffective battery or undesirable starter. determine that your jumper cables are in stable shape and which you're making a competent connection with them. greater effective than possibly in spite of the undeniable fact that it is the starter.

That's bizarre. I don't see how it could be related. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a minute or so, then reconnecting it to see if resetting the computer might cure it?
