How angry do you get at news of children being abused?

Being a victim of child abuse, it boils my blood! I would love to locked in a cell with these people and do HORRIBLE things to them - woudl you?

I was sexually abused by my father at 12 and 16, sexually abused by my mothers boyfriend at 13 and raped at 16. I then found myself in an abusive realtionship for 5 years until meeting my husband.

I am now a happy and well adjusted mother of one! I feel nothing but nothing towards those who tried to hurt me, they are truely SCUM!

I boil. Due to circumstances, I could never have the children I always dreamed of having. For someone to abuse a child sends me into a fury, especially when it is the child's parents. So many people out there would have wanted and cared for and loved that child, and it was given to scum. And when I was a bit younger, I would have taken it personally. Why them, and not me, scum gets a children , but I don't. Life really is difficult, sometimes.
If a person who does not want their child reads this, give it up for adoption, or take it to a hospital, or a fire department, or police station, or a government facility, and ask for help. Did you know it is legal to do so? Check your state laws, but I think that is in every state. There was a recent case of a woman leaving her children at the grocery store. she was not prosecuted, they decided she had tried to ask for help..
There was a case here in my town, where the father tried to sell the baby, less than a mile from my house. Someone witnessed it, and called the cops, who got the scum. Wish I had been there, I'd have bought it. That baby would have been so spoiled. I'm
sitting here crying, just thinking about it.

It gave me cold chills one day, when I recognized someone I went to high school with. And the people at my x-job couldn't wait to call me to tell me an x-co-worker's husbands picture was there. There is a predator around the corner and down the street from me, and one two houses down from a friend, 7-8 blocks away from me.
I would never act on the impulse, but it does make you want to beat the living dayllights out of a predator, or exact some good old biblical "eye for an eye". on them. How that guy on NBC's Dateline predator sting programs deals so calmly with those scum, I do not know. Bet he loses sleep over it. And that horrible one who brought his son with him to the house where he was prepared to have ... with an underage child, oh, my. they did not have the interview, they came out of hiding, told him what was going on, and to leave, and tried not to arrest him in front of his child, and warned him to cooperate, and not bring the child's attention to him. He did cooperate.

You know that the statistics are very high on girls being sexually abused at least once before they turn 18, and the stats for boys are not really accurate because many males do not report. I think we should have a special place for all pedophiles male and female, place them all together an island in the middle of no where would be wonderful. And air drop them food once a month. Since we can not just kill them. The laws should be strict from the first offense like life in prison, so they would not get the chance to continue on with their behavior till they are caught. chances are when they are caught it is not the first or second time, they have been doing it for years. Society and the law doesn't do anything until they have murdered a child. It is beyond belief. We give drug dealers and drug abusers more prison time. I wonder when the time will come when we as a society begin to value our children. God bless. I guess you could say, yes it makes my blood boil, over boil. I am sorry for you that you had to endure this, if you have not sought out counseling, do yourself a favor and get some. It is many time soffered for free you could contact a Rape Crisis Center in yoru area and they can direct you to some counseling. Many times the people who do this type of counseling are survivors themselves so the empathy is very real. they know first hand what you are going through. You are in my prayers. I'v answered several of this type of question and my answer will always be the same , these b*stards should be publicly skinned alive and the remains fed to the dogs, but if you take notice of how many politicians and judges and the like , are involved in some sort of pervertion scandal then we have no chance of putting an end to it untill we , the electorat , demand that the b*stards get what they deserve , and we should not vote for any party that does not see this issue as a priority, and i for one will join any campaign that is endeavouring to bring this about .But what about the victim what help do they get , almost nothing , because the resources are spent on the scumbags in prison with their therapy and counselling so they can secure an early release from their totally inadequate sentence so they can go out and do it again , while the victim suffers a life sentence with no chance of parole. I am not a victim of abuse but i have got six kids and i can tell you that if anybody touched one of mine , they'd have no chance of ever getting to court unless it was the coroners .

It boils my blood too i was reading an article today in a magazine about a girl that had been abused but didn't even know it.
Her friends father used some kind of doping drug and had a lock up somewhere and because he didn't pay the rent they opened it up and found over 14,000 images of children indecently exposed most of which had not been developed.
it really brought a tear to my eye that someone who worked with children and was a volunteer with the NSPCC could do something like that.
I think they should all be shot , that might clear a lot of places in prison.
Words can not describe how it makes me feel and I can only hope that children who are abused in any form realise that it is very wrong and they should report it to some one.
How could anyone harm an Innocent child in anyway.

If I really said how I feel about children been abused then I would have more than a violation on here that's for sure, there are no words readable from me to describe how it makes me feel, those kids are ruined for life both physically and emotionally, they never forget what has happened to them, never trust anyone fully, find it hard to be in loving relationships, have to suffer the indignity of been told by so called professionals that they will more than likely end up abusers themselves one day and are expected to just get on with their life and put it behind them, how can they ever be a survivor of abuse when they are always looked on as a victim, abuse doesn't just affect the child it ruins the whole of families too, it more than makes my blood boil.

I agree with kevinmonighan. The word abuse can sometimes refer to both necessary disciplinary action and deprived acts of cruelty alike. Some people think that no child should be physically harmed in any way, but there are times when verbal disciplinary action is not taken seriously, then the child needs a whoopin. And I agree that if there's blackeyes or open sores then thats going WAY too far, but I grew up with many people who are fine examples of human beings today because when we were young we all got the belt across the *** and therefore trembled with fear at the sight of drugs and didn't hang out with people that would get us whooped lol. There is a difference between necessary and sick though. As far as ALL sexual abuse this is always sick no matter what context.

You have been through so much. My heart goes out to you. It's wonderful that you are happy and well adjusted now and also encouraging for me as two of my four children have been abused.

When these people do get sent to prison they get repaid over and over for what they did to children by the other inmates. I have heard stories of old guys being repeatedly gang raped so maybe some will find solace in that.

It really angers me that there are such perverts on the world!!!

Yes Vashti, I understand..been there and just as angry. However, the best revenge, I've heard, is looking good...and feeling good as well. One thing I do to feel good involves a fantasy I created some time ago ...and its almost real now. Since my parents were so shitty, I invented new ones. I thought up all the details, what they looked like, where they lived and go home in my thoughts from time to time. (I went into a meditative state when I first created this and let me thoughts take me away.) They are always ready to welcome me home with lots of love and creature comforts. Warm great pleasures that drift me off to sleep and make me feel very loved and very wanted.

These gutless cowards only take their anger out on children, because they won't or can't fight back. If I had the chance I'd give them a good kicking.

They should be locked up for life. I believe other prisoners don't give them an easy time in jail either, they often end up being abused themselves.

Very,very angry and sickened by the people who do. I hope they get caught and go to jail because I've heard that other convicts really give a child abuser a taste of his own medicine!
