Brand new or used?? I mean obviously you wouldn't want a used mattress, but the bunkbeds you can find just about anywhere for very reasonable prices. If you don't mind used, you can check the classifieds in your local paper. We just got 2 twin mattresses made especially for bunkbeds( the mattress and boxspring in one) for $50 each at this hole in the wall furniture place. You know what I'm talking about? I'm sure every town has those kinds of stores. They are shady looking, but, hey, if there's nothing wrong with the mattress, why not!!! Good luck!!

Try the craigslist on net. I will leave a link here for you.

Click the nearest city or area you are living. Simply go click the furniture link in for sale section. Or barter or free stuff. You might find it even cheaper than $500! Good luck!

Try your local FreeCycle group. Do a search for it in Yahoo Groups. Craigslist is also good.
