Is there any home remedy other than store bought medicine to treat my acid indigestion and heartburn, please help it hurts me, thanks

Many people think food is the problem, but in actuality, it may just be H. Pylori, a bacteria that causes great pain. Do you feel sometimes like you ate something that was too old or not cooked enough? Or maybe a simple hunger pain, that shouldn't be there because you just ate? It could be the bad bacteria. Get yourself checked out for H. Pylori before you start crossing foods off your list.

well i used to allways get that ive tried all the medicines out there gaviscon anniseed is the best but then mine started getting worse so i went to the doctor he said it might be a peptic ulser because i kept on getting it really bad he have me this medication and it went and never came back but thye other day i had a curry it came back and now ive found something that works other than medication just get a glass of milk warm it up in the microwave and drink it hot or even you can make a strawberry milkshake which ever one works because milk is chalky just like milk of magnesium good luck i no its horrible i suffered from it if it carries on you must go to your doctor because it could lead to a peptic ulser. hope you get better soon.

I never use tablets when I get heartburn. I just take a couple swallows of milk. Works everytime and tastes better then baking soda.

Milk. It thickens the mucus in you body and since its mucus in you stomach to neutralize the acids, it thickens the lining of mucus in your stomach
