I pray no one feels that way.
Jesus is the only one who can save anyone.
he dose comand us to go to church though if we are saved so if you are and say you dont need to be in church....you dont read your bible enough to know otherwise. Or havent read that part of it yet. (which is ok then)
But get into church.

You're Not a full Christian If You just Attend church every once in a while. Don't get me wrong going to church is a major part of being a Christian but it won't get into Heaven. You have to read the Bible constantly, pray, and be Christ Like. That's a true Christian.

Its the teaching of the church that told people they have to go to church and work for their salvation. I know many seniors in our community believe that. Going to Church doesn't make a Christian. It's only through Jesus we can be saved.

Going to church does not make me a Christian any more than going to the garage makes me a car. You don't have to go to church to be a christian but Christian fellowship is good and helps us be accountable to someone. Going to church is good, but being a Christian and walking the way of Christ is up to you.

I don't believe that you have to go anywhere to be saved. But it's wisdom to gather and worship with others, whether it's in a church building, or out in the woods, or in a house church. The 'Church' is the body of all believers worldwide. And we can certainly learn alot from each other.
Hoping the best for you...

Salvation does not depend on going to Church. But Christians are encouraged to meet together in worship.
This is what the apostle Paul said to the first century Christians
(Hebrews 10:24-25) 24Â And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, 25Â not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as YOU behold the day drawing near.
We need encouragement the meeting of Christians together is for the upbuilding of each other and in worship of God together.
---
Some scriptures I like :
(1 John 5:2-3) . . .. 3 For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome,
“I [Jesus] am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”—John 13:34.

You will not be saved if you just go to church. You should fellowship with Christians , but just sitting in church isn't enough.

Nope. We go to church to be around other Christians, Bible study, fellowship, praise and worship with others. However, according to the Bible, Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Not church or anything else.

It is hard to keep temptation away, and going to church helps you talk with other people that have the same issues. This is a evil world and it helps to know there are people on your side going through the same day to day struggles that you do. It also helps to have people pray for you and you for them. It is not the way to God, but it helps to keep you strong in your faith.
