Yes you have an infection if your would is leaking pus. Some type of bacteria. You should get this checked immediately, for there is a very resistant strain of staph, sweeping our nation at present and it's very hard to kill, for it has grown resistant to most of the antibiotics on the market. Observe yourself for fever, dehydration, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. All of these are signs of increase in the infection, and indicated it could be spreading. Registered Nurse Here.

yes! pus is always a sign of infection. get it checked out quickly before it gets worse.

No, the antibiotics are working and the poison(so to speak) is making an exit. You are taking antibiotics arent you? If not, get to a doctor

pus usually indicates an infection yes, my advice to you is to seek medical help, call your clinic and make an appt with your PCP.

Go to the doctor right now. You definately have an infection. I wouldn't risk having to go through a lot more pain than you are going through right now. Please GO SEE THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOW.

yes, it most likely infected. Is it red, swollen or painful. Hydrogen Peroxide---wash it out!
