you are probably used to all of the artificial stimulation of metabolism, and use these things more than other people. your body could have gotten too used to all of it, or maybe your metaboilism is a lot faster than most people's. I have found that if i go through a period of time where i have too much, then after a while the effects diminish until they have no effect at all. try to moderate yourself, get more sleep so you dont need the stuff as much, and if that doesn't work ask a doctor to medically evaluate the most probable cause.

p.s starbucks = life : p

when i drink coffe i dont feel the caffeine like it should wake me up or something. it makes me really shaky and dizzy. so i dont drink coffee at all.
other coke products are weak.
try mountain due. that stuff keeps you going like crazy. i dont know why but i always drink mountain due around bedtime. not each night. that would be too much. but when i get home all tired from work. i drink some of that and its like the light switch turned on in my brain. i try going to bed but all tos and turn in bed. that stuff will keep you going. but its worse then coffe. drinking too much can be really bad. kidney stones are made if you drink too much.so be carful.

I have the same problem. I think it's because I drink so much of it...but it's always been that way, even when I was a kid. I could drink my mother's coffee (eat the bottom out of the cup, it did) and still go right to sleep!

I think after a while a person can develop a tolerance for caffeine which will cause it to have less and less of a noticeable effect.

there are people that are more sensitive. I love to drink coffee and drink it regularily so I think that i'm more immune to caffine because of that. I'll have coffee in the evening lots of times. Do you drink lots of caffine? All those drinks you listed are bad for you people ( i'm not willing to give up my coffee) But red bull is sick.

You have probably built up an immunity to that amount of caffine. If you have consumed a lot of caffine frequently, it begins to take larger and larger doses to get you the sort of 'high'. hmm.. I would cut down if they aren't doing anything for you, cause they are really unhealthy anyway!

Your caffeine tolerance is too high. This means it takes a lot to get you going. Start reducing your intake and you'll notice it more.

You may not feel different, but your heart rate may go up or things like that that you don't notice.
