That is one solution. I've got another one. We gather up all the illegal immigrants that are over here now and send them to the border. We make them build the fence paying them minimum wage for mexico. All we got to do is make sure there on there side of the fence when it is done. They love their cheap labor so much then let them injoy it one more time before we deport them.

Wouldn't $10 million a mile over what, 500 miles, do it?
Thats $5 billion that could be thrown at the problem. Nothing substantial has been done.
Our rulers get what they want.
I don't know the exact reasons why they want the border open, but they seem to keep it that way.
I suspect it is to facilitate the importation of drugs.
On the other hand, maybe they want to avoid that "East Berlin" trashy look-- its like so 1989!

Absolutely not. We should not reinstate the draft unless it's world war 3. We can hire more border agents to secure the border.

We need to kick the politicians out of office and enforce the laws already on the books.
The existing laws could easily take care of the problem. If our politicians would allow law enforcement to enforce the law!

I did the Math - we need somewhere in excess of 100,000,000 peole to toatlly close the border - maybe in excess of 200,000,000 people.
Q. WHY would you want to brankrupt the USA,to close the border ?

I like the idea of putting webcams on the border that everyone in the country can view. Then they can call the border patrol when they see illegals.

we probably have enough military now if our government would just use them to protect America & Americans instead of foreigners!
Instead of the draft there are probably enough non-military Americans to secure our borders - all we need is the backing of our government.
