I love eggnog. It's made with egg yolks,cream,sugar,nutmeg and vanilla. Yummy!!!
We usually dilute it by pouring half a glass of eggnog and fill it the rest of the way with plain milk and stir. It's not so sweet and makes it a little thinner.

I love eggnog. However, be careful of making it yourself. Similar to the other comments it is made with eggs and sugar. I have never really enjoyed the homemade. Or, should I say, some people do not know how to make eggnog.
I buy from the dairy at the grocery store. Now I buy low fat. It is an enjoyable holiday drink. Oh yes, you can add Rum, Baileys, or Scotch for a party drink.
It is special in my opinion, because it goes with all the holiday cookies, cakes, and Christmas food. Additionally, you can only get it during the holidays...(not the can stuff).

Eggnog is a sweet, creamy, nutmeg drink that is served around the Christmas holiday. They usually start coming in the stores after Thanksgiving. It's really good but can give you a tummy ache.

It's a creamy Christmastime drink. Just buy Borden's, add a scoop of ice cream and a shot of rum. Then it's special for the holidays.

you seprate your eggs and put milk with the yolk and beat them both seprately put sugar and cinnimon and nutmeg and then combine the two yummy.
