Try the following websites:

craigslist.org
kaboo.org
freecycle.org

There are people/businesses that often will give you things they would otherwise not be needing or using.

Good luck!

For our preschool we used a combination of Ikea (creative table tops w/ adjustable legs) & chairs from a seller on Ebay ($12/chair minimum of 6). The Ikea chairs are not stackable and don't hold up as well under regular preschool use.

I believe that ANY restraint is illegal. In preschool you are not allowed to restrain a child unless they are a danger to themselves, or others... and even then the lines are a bit sketchy. I do NOT believe that a preschooler is ever in need of this action. I would not allow this to happen to my child. Redirection is always the best bet. If your child has had this done I would change schools IMMEDIATELY!

Check your local thrift stores, consignment stores, and garage sales. They usually have lots of kids stuff.
