I'm pretty anal-retentive when it comes to driving. I go the speed limit all the time, even on the highway in the left lane. I always stop at red lights and stop signs even when it's the middle of the night or in the middle of nowhere. I always signal when I'm changing lanes or turning. I always go 25 in the school zones and stop on the side of the road for emergency vehicles (got me rear-ended one time by a redneck on a cell).
When people blow a light or stop sign, I make no effort to stop for them. This has caused me to be in a few nasty wrecks. The way I figure it, if they are too good to stop at the stop at the light or stop sign I'm too good to stop for them. When people turn out in front of me, same deal I don't stop for them. When people get on my bumper I go even slower. If they try to go around me I run even with someone else. When I see people weaving in and out of traffic I make an effort to trap them in and get the cops to pull them over.
Who is more dangerous me or them?

"I ride a bike. People like you don't exist for me. "Running even" is what we call the "Mexican roadblock". It gets people hurt, where Iive."
I have a lovely way of handling the egotistical bikers such as yourself. I make sure I am close enough to the line that even a motorcycle can't swing through. Usually they get pissed off and try to go around me in the shoulder lane or in a turning lane. I then speed up and blow them away (my hemi can blow any crappy bike away no sweat)
One time a biker got stuck in that lane (my friend behind me ran even so he couldn't get back over) and got pulled over by the cops. I almost died laughing my *** off. Another time a biker came up to my window talking **** with a knife in his hand and I emptied a full cane of mace in his eyes and drove off while he was screaming like a b*tch.

I think they are, for the most part. There's nothing wrong with doing the speed limit and pulling over for emergency vehicles-you are definately in-the-right for those things. As for not trying to stop for someone who has run a red light or stop sign, that's a touchy one. I get your point that they are the ones that are wrong but sometimes those people aren't doing it on purpose. You don't want to be the one to T-Bone a sleep deprived mom and kill a kid just becuz you feel you have the right away (not to say that the other driver should be paying more attention)
Also, you could save yourself a lot of pain but just trying to stop instead of hitting someone and causing a big accident that could have been avoided-sometimes you just have to be a bigger man about you know.

I'm somewhat like you are. I'm an excellent driver. Obey the rules and am curteous. But when someone else is riding my bumper, weaving in and out, speeding and being inconsiderate, I do the same things you do. Of course I will watch them closely and aply my brake when necessary. I DON'T want to be in a wreck. This is where defensive driving is important because of all the drivers you have mentioned.
I suggest you BRAKE when necessary and let them get away with their dangerous driving. They won't change.

Sounds to me like you have a death wish if you do all the things you say you do. Some of the things you do I don't disagree with...such as boxing them in and such...it makes them slow down...but
If you don't attempt to avoid a wreck when someone runs a light or turns in front of you...you are asking for it.
Now think about this...what if one of these times someone blows through a stop sign or light...and you don't attempt to avoid it...and there is a child in that other car and they get seriously hurt or killed....then what...if your actions of avoiding this accident could have prevented that...
In many cases there are a lot more people involved than the drivers..perhaps by you allowing the accident to occur...a third car...innocent party is also involved...and them or one of their loved ones is hurt or killed just because of your inability to avoid accidents...and by your own admission you do it intentionally...I'd say you are more dangerous by far.

that's a toss up, i do believe in driving legally, but some of your actions could end up getting you killed or at the least crippled(some of your "nasty wrecks"). two wrongs don't make a right, better to call 911 with a license plate number, or get a cb, the cops usually monitor channel 9, and alot of states have numbers to turn in drunk drivers. if you want to police the public, put your money where your mouth is, become a cop and do the world some good, and ticket those idiots. there's enough of them, they'll keep you busy all day long!!!!

I hear this crap all the time on this site. People claiming that us SLOW drivers (the ones observing the speed limit) are causing wrecks.
NO! it's the danged speeders whizzing in and out of lanes and going around corners on two wheels that are the danger, not those trying to drive within the laws. YOU ARE THE SAFE DRIVER.
You SHOULD, however, stop trying to interfere with them. Just do your own thing and ignore the other speeders. You could get into trouble messing with some of the psychos.

you , you are out of control , or do you have a death wish , why in the name of god do you want too be in an accident , let them do their thing and stop , then get their license # and call the police , and prosicute them , file charges , the more accidents you are in the higher your insurance premiums will go , you could also be involved in a deadly accident where an innocent by stander dies ,
