Yes. I turned from them and recieved the payment of Jesus's life, death, burial, and resurrection for my sins. I had a BIG debt, but Jesus paid it all.

Not only has God forgiven my sins... (He loves a penitent heart!)
through my simply asking him to forgive me (through prayer) and by my sincere attempts to avoid sin in the future He wipes the sin away. In other words, I receive a clean slate. Scripture tells us that He will make us (our souls)white as snow.

Yes, I do. If you ask for forgiveness, I believe you will receive it. But, if you ask for forgiveness and then go out and do the same thing you are asking to be forgiven for, then forget it, God can see you haven't learned your lesson. In order to make forgiveness work you have to ask, commit to it, and never do it again. By asking for salvation and then not following through with, it it basically hopeless. For the people who claim they never did or have any sins, that's simply nonsense. Everybody has sins, there are those who have asked for forgiveness and not received it because they are not sincere, and there are those who never ask for it because they believe that God won't forgive them because it is too serious of a sin. Believe me he knows in your mind and heart if you are sincere or not and whether you believe in yourself to ask.

Colossians 1:13-14

13 He delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, 14 by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Thus through Jesus ransom sacrifice we have forgiveness of our sins.

Yes, by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ! The one who said he had never sinned was sadly mistaken, since ALL have sinned and come short of God's glory. That's the simple truth.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Colossians 1:14)

God granted Jesus the authority to forigive sin. Have mine been forgiven? I asked for forgiveness, so I must believe it to be true.

Jesus shed body, paid for our sins. But we have to pray and ask for forgiveness of our sins. We have to believe in Jesus as the messiah.

Matthew 26:28 As they continued eating, Jesus took a loaf and, after saying a blessing, he broke it and, giving it to the disciples, he said: “TAKE, eat. This means my body.” 27 Also, he took a cup and, having given thanks, he gave it to them, saying: “Drink out of it, all of YOU; 28 for this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’ which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins. 29 But I tell YOU, I will by no means drink henceforth any of this product of the vine until that day when I drink it new with YOU in the kingdom of my Father.” 30 Finally, after singing praises, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Yupp yupp. First by Jesus' atonement, second through repentance, and third, really serious sins needed to be talked about and resolved.
