Vaseline and Carmex work for me. Also try to find a chapstick with sunblock in it . It sounds like your lips could be wind burned too. Watch out for that as well. When your lips start feeling better you can buff them with and old tooth brush to get the dead skin off of them. Good Luck!

Use vasaline. I heard that chapstick can make it worse. Vasaline is the best thing to use definitely. Also put some on every night before bed to keep them from getting dry & cracked from the dry air.

Ive had this problem before and I tried every brand of chapstick out there... literally... I found carmex and chapstick medicated to be the best.. carmex is kind of addicting for your lips... i switch off sometimes between the two....

Also Beeswax, its a little more expensive but it really works,,, feels like carmex with chapstick medicated together. comes in different colors too! They are usually in the front counters/registers of like walgreens and stuff...

yeah too much of a particular chapstick bothers the delicate skin of lips.Especially if you have some kind of rash ,then rubbing the same chapstick would spread it even more.
Try using CARMEX you can buy it from any drugstore or walgreens.I have been using it for the past 10 years and really has helped my cold sores and helped maintaining soft lips!

I agree with everyone else that you need to drink more water. I'm a poker dealer and when I deal I notice that my lips get really chapped because I'm not drinking enough fluids. I also use Carmex lip balm, but only at night because I think it tastes funny, but I think it's the best stuff out there for super dry lips.

As others said- drink more water. It could be the weather and/or that you are dehydrated.
Also, you can before a hot bath put a heavy amount of Vaseline on your lips and then put a hot cotton wash cloth on your lips-- rub in a circular motion.

Oh if I undergo in ideas properly: it extremely is not dry lips,... are you conversing with reference to the little blister on the precise or backside of his lips?? no longer dry, merely the rubbing of the bottle, it occurs... use Aquaphor or vaseline to guard that spot, yet do no longer subject approximately it, it is going away....you additionally can no longer use something, it is going to come and pass... my son grew to become right into a preemie and he had that. i do no longer know if being preemie had something to do with it in spite of the undeniable fact that. And universal, new toddlers are crinkley looking, even their lips. as long as he's wetting diapers and eating accurately he's super... yet once you're uncertain, you relatively ought to ask your well being practitioner - do no longer they have a 24 hour nurse line?

Vasaline, or some really thick lip gloss.
The thicker the better.
Try the vasaline first and see what happens.
