I can't seem to stay commited to the treadmill for more than a few weeks, I get SO bored. Can anyone tell me what they do while on the treadmill to keep occupied that is more creative than watching TV or reading? I tried those...I want to run, but I need something to do while doing it....any cool, neat, unique suggestions???

i always found it helpful if i did somethng while on a machine that made me think of something else, other than the exercising. sometimes i would just get lost in a daze. or see how many songs i can sing for memory. i used to rent a lot of movies that i hadn'tseen and then ran while i watched them. good luck! you can do it!

If you own an Ipod that would be the ideal...you can get music-podcasts that have training programs to music. But if you don't, a CD player would work too. And with music to help, exercise is easier to get through. Though it's getting colder, you can run outside if you want, I'm training to run a 5K right now, and I don't own a treadmill, so I always run outside.

I also find it helpful to daydream while I run. Just go to a familiar park or neighborhood and allow yourself to think or wander with thoughts. Sometimes, it feels like I ran 20 minutes when it was almost an hour. And that I have to say is bloody brillant. ;)

Instead of running inside, you should do it outside.
It never gets boring when you are outdoors.
Maybe you could alternate days or weeks with the treadmill and outdoors.

I use self hypnosis tapes while I'm on a treadmill. Be careful though, you have to get the knack of relaxing while you are jogging.

If u have a music player or an ipod or something like that... then u can listen 2 music while running or jogging or somethin.... it's really more fun n relaxing wd music ringin in ur ears

First ,if in case you have the face for it, get bangs or layers. Then pull your hair again right into a ponytail (in view that you've gotten quick hair) and placed a headscarf in or take a look at 2 braids or pigtails. Hope it is helping! :)
