Wow you and I are built almost exactly the same. I will bet that most people do not think you weight 165. My mother is Hungarian I have constantly worried about that "belly." I am also willing to be you have great muscle tone and strength. Don't worry about the numbers, only you know what you are comfortable with. I recently got down to 161 and feel still "overweight" yet people compliment me all the time. Who you are is not counted in what you weigh.

It's all a numbers game. Do you know exactly how many calories you eat, and net calories burned? The type of exercises you do might be putting on muscle, especially if you have been inactive for a long time, you will gain muscle at first. Maybe you lost inches and gained muscle. If you want to lose fat you want to go longer distance , and not as much resistance or intensity.

Go here and input your data -

http://www.consumer.gov/weightloss/bmi.htm

Your body mass index comes out to 28.3 which is approaching the higher end of the overweight category. Is the excercise you're doing cardio? Burning more in a workout is always good...maybe a trainer could help you maximize your workouts better?

Good luck!

Unfortunately, you probably need to work out even more and eat even less.
