If you haven`t already done this, don`t. Nail extension can cause fungi under the nail of the wearer, which is very hard to treat, and sometimes will not go away, and will eventually cause disfigured nails. You will harbor dangerous bacteria under the extensions. In the newborne` nursery, infants were contacting the deadly staph infection and some had even died from it. O.C.E.A. did an in depth investigation and found that there were caregivers and nurses who were wearing nail extensions. The lab used swabs and took cultures from all the nail extension wearers. They found several different bacterias that are very harmful to infants, one of them responsible for hepatitis besides the staph bacteria and others. One person mentioned all kinds of crap, which is exactly what was found, crap.

Good luck finding the time to maintain manicures after having a baby. This is a 24/7 job, no vacations.

Yes I guess you could. I wouldn't recommend that you get um done like a week after a new born is born if you haven't changed many diapers before. That would be kinda hard and you may scratch the baby!

The extensions themselves should not be a problem unless you are unable to manipulate them properly to do tasks...
If it's your first time getting nail extensions wait until your child is potty trained because they are difficult to manipulate at first.. depending on length..
I never had a problem I have my nails done every 2 weeks, I have had acryllic nails for 10 years.. (My mother-in-law is a cosmotologist and does them for me)...

No you can't for the first 23 hours. But they do offer diaper changing services to help you out at the local walgreens. It's great. Gel nails are perfect by the way.

Sure as long as the polish and glue are dry! Be careful not to scratch the baby because it is easy to do with long nails...Also make sure you wash your hands after each change because bacteria can stay stuck under long nails.

I wouldnt get your nails done anymore for a while if you really care about the baby. Its unsanitary and babies are so delicate. All types of crap gets stuck up in those nails.
