Because honestly, it's not your place to save anyone. God gave us free will, and if we want to be saved, we'll contact you. Don't force anyone to believe in what you do, and don't feel like you've failed just because we don't follow. We aren't rejecting you, trust. We just believe in different faiths. If you love people, then love them for who they are and what they believe in. Peace.

God tells us that when someone does not want to hear the truth, that you should not cast your pearls before swine- and that you should shake the dust off from your feet...move on...BUT KEEP sharing the Gospel! Do not get discouraged! Because it is GOD who saves- we are to preach the good news, but it is GOD who draws a person to him....
John 6:44 says "No one can come to me, unless the Father draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day" ( Jesus speaking)
--So please know that it is only the enemy that is making you feel like you are failing when in fact you are PREVAILING!! Because you are speaking the truth! And when doing that, you will always have the victory!

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

---Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

You keep on preaching the Good News--it is all for the GLORY OF GOD!

Also know this "Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed!" 1 Peter 4:13

Jesus said that the world will hate us because it hated him, remember that? So when you are preaching the truth, and someone gets mad, know that what you are saying is just convicting them....and then PRAY for them when you leave them- Pray the Lord will reveal himself to them~

Dear dramachick,

I hope this answer does not make you feel bad but all we can do is give people the Gospel of Christ. We can never get them saved! We are to just sow the seed (the word of God) and the Lord will quicken (save) those whom He elected to salvation (Ephesians 1:3-5). There are many people who think they can be saved by going to church, or by being baptized in water, or by repeating a prayer but this is absolutley false. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:11 ...there is none that seeketh after God. Man is spiritually DEAD in sins and trespasses (Ephesians 2:1-3). Man, before salvation, is blind and deaf to the Lord's commandments. Why do you think we find so many times in the Bible the verse, "If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear." The Lord was not filling up space in His word by repeating this verse. He is telling us that there are certain ones whom He has chosen to give ears to hear. Please read the parable of the wheat and tares or the parable of the ten virgins. These picture that there are 2 different kingdoms involved here: the saved and the unsaved. The saved are referred to as "wheat" and "wise virgins". The unsaved are referred to as the tares and the foolish virgins.
You see, all that you need to do is to give people the Gospel. Make sure it is the true Gospel (Galatians 1). The Lord is the One who determines who is going to be saved and who is not (Romans 9). You can pray for people but we always end our prayers with, "Lord, not my will but thine be done." Please see my references--I cannot give any links or websites. You can Google them.

Your concern for others is very admirable, so don't be discouraged from sharing. But also remember that no one comes to Jesus unless the Holy Spirit draws them, so be careful that you don't try to do the Holy Spirit's job. God gave each and every one of us free will. If even HE won't violate it, then surely we shouldn't think that we can, right? Just keep on loving .

Hoping the best for you...

You feel sad because you love them and you want them to share in your joy...but that' doesn't mean you have failed God, your responsibility in sharing the gospel is just that - sharing it. What people do with what you've shared is their own choice, not even God will force that.

Give yourself some credit.

Hey dont feel bad you at least try to win them to Jesus I feel it is up to them. They have to search they own heart whither they believe in Jesus or not. So keep on praying and keep up the soul winning for Jesus. You get a halo when you go to heaven for sure. But God or Jesue know you try your best. keep on praying.

Sometimes in our zeal to reach out to the unsaved, we take upon ourselves the job of the Holy Spirit. I know I have been guilty of this from time to time. My advise is to really listen to God and allow Him to work through you. He is the one who will grow the seeds that are planted.

It is our job to help people learn about God. But people have freewill. If you are trying you are doing a great job. So many people are ashamed of God. They are embarrassed and won't talk about Him. You aren't ashamed and that is great. Keep it up. Remember, if you turn your back on God, in the end He will turn His to you.

Jesus could have saved and cure everybody if he wanted to, but he didn't. Be ready to help when asked, but let every soul find their way to heaven.

I admire that you are being very nice about this, but you have to understand that we dont want to be converted. Some of us are actually happy with out religion. You have not failed G-d by the way.

If all you want to do is help, then stop proselytizing. Your non-christian friends don't want that kind of help. Lay off. God's not having a contest. Lead by example. Etc.
