What do you mean, what would I do? Let's see... it depends, if he's going to the store without me and asks, "Do you want anything?" I say "No." Then he'll go without me and I just stay home or I'll go to the store with him, just so I can see what he's really going to get for himself. ???

If someone close to me told me that they didn't want anything, then I would take them at their word and not give them anything. Of course, the people I'm close to know that I don't play those stupid games where the person says one thing but means the opposite, and that I expect the same from them. If they play those type of dumb games with me I just tell them good-bye.

Do you mean you said no when he asked if you wanted something, and you really did? So, you said no anyway. Why not just be honest? Relationships fail because of dishonesty.

when i was dating my boyfriend whom now is my husband he'd ask me when we would go to the mall if i wanted anything and I'd say no but he still bought me stuff without me asking .. and he still does it now even though we are married now... is that what you are asking or are you talking bout a phone conversation
