I'll let ~Rush~ answer for me as I have this in my profile:

From ~Rush~
"You can choose a ready guide
In some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide
You still have made a choice
You can choose from phantom fears
And kindness that can kill
I will choose a path thats clear
I will choose free will"

It's like being in a row boat on the ocean. You can row anywhere you want to, so you think that you're free to go wherever you want, but you can never leave the ocean. Your freedom has limits, and so does your free will. That means that there is no such thing as free will; it is a man made concept that needs to be re-defined. We should more accurately call it fuzzy will, like fuzzy logic.

BOTH EXIST PERFECTLY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY.look
at it from this point of view;assuming a child being born blind, his fate has called for that blindness from a past mistake therefore he needs to be born blind to experience the pain and agony and even more from this blindness.remember it was abuse of his free will that led to his current situation.his freewill will always be there but fate is the result of free will.now he has to wisely use his free will only for good.
to sum it up, free will molds our fate.you and i are what we are as a result of our freewill.

Well

Genisis 1:27 Says:"And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him; male and female he created them"

Made in God's likeness, we have the ability to reflect his qualities, such as love, justice, wisdom, and power. God has also given us the gift of free will, or freedom of choice. This makes us unique among his earthly creation. We can choose whether we will follow God's moral guidance or not. That is why the prophet Moses could say: "I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today, that I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive, you and your offspring, by loving Jehovah your God, by listening to his voice and by sticking to him."-Deuteronomy 30:19, 20.

Free will. Life is about making tha right choices, not about having the right luck or making the right mistakes.

Free will with a bloody great sword swinging over your head is NOT freedom!!
The Christian idea of freedom is moronic!

Both. God gave us the gift of agency, meaning free will. However, since he is all knowing he has his plan of salvation. Any way you look at it, it's both.
