I believe you are talking about Jesus Christ our Lord who came to this earth 2,000 years ago. he was born raise up and talk and preach for 3 years and then he was crutified for ours sins and raise on the 3rd day. this is our Lord and Savior. hope this helps

Yes, that guy's name is Jesus Christ, and yes, He did die for everyone here on earth! He came to earth for that purpose only! He was to die for all the sins of His people! By dying on the cross for us, He saved us, His people, from the wrath of hell! Before He came, it was almost impossible to make Heaven. You had to sacrifice animals for forgiveness! Now we just simply confess our sins to Him and ask for His forgiveness! It is an amazing thing!
