Using chemicals on your hair can certainly dry it out enough to make it brittle. Brittle is bad because even a brush can break it. Also, damaging the roots of your hair with too many chemicals can make it fall out.

P.S. stress also can make your hair fall out.

I've dyed my hair quite a few times...more times than I can count...My hair is a little weaker than it used to be, but that's really about it.....The same amount of hair that was falling out before I started dyeing it, is falling out now...

Well, good question. All I know is when I color my hair it definitely falls out and I've tried it three times with different products.

I think it may have to do with the product, but I'm very distressed about it because I want to cover gray, but still want my hair.

I'm anxious what kind of answers you will be getting.

If you follow the directions on the box, your hair should not fall out. I've been doing it for 20 years and have never had that problem.

It can do. If you are worried, speak to your hairdresser.
I've dyed my hair lots and its never fallen out.
Always remember to do a patch test for the full time, even if you have used the brand before.
