Hey. My dalmation had a littler of puppies and of course they had no spots when they were born. Eventally, they all gained their spots...except one. What's with her? She's a year old and she's completely white. Is she still considered a dalmation? lol
Does it mean that there is something wrong with her, or is it just a weird thing?

It must have happened when the gentics of her mother and father got mixed. She got what they call the joker of the genetics pile. Other then having no spots she should be just like her brother's and sisters. She sounds adorable and you should treat her equally. With your is she still considered a dalmation the answer is yes if we are white or black we are still people. Good luck with her.

Dalmatians typically have their spots within a matter of weeks. Some breeders claim that a dalmatian with no spots is not a dalmatian. Others claim that dalmatians may have very pale yellowish spots, called lemon, or may be albino with no spots at all.
With a dalmatian mix, there may or may not be spots. It's a genetic thing, like human hair color. If you know yours are pure dalmatian, then there is no question as to the breed. In that case, check closely to see if yours has pale lemon spots.

The spots are only on the fur. The Dalmatian is a breed of dog, noted for its white coat with either black or liver spots. Although other colour variations do exist, any colour markings other than black or liver are a disqualification in purebred Dalmatians. The famous spotted coat is unique to the Dalmatian breed; no other purebred dog breed sports the flashy spotted markings.

I love that! Is she deaf? Just curious because most white female cats are and was wondering about dogs....in any case, I think it would be hysterical if you had a special Dalmatian spot coat made for her for winter! I just bought my dog a new the collor the other day and she thinks she's the cat's meow!

If the sire was a Dal and so was the dam - and every single other ancestor without exception, then she is a Dal.
It does happen - rarely - but it still happens, that there will be one who didn't get the gene for the markings.

no theires nothing wrong with her she just hasn't mutured yet when did the other puppies get there spots not long ago or while ago like i said she just hasn't mutuerd yet so don't worry
