It's natural to be mad, and did you think it was the right choice?
In my opinion, he seems like a good friend because he asked you first before he did anything. He cared about your feelings, and I bet if you REALLY said that it bothered you, he would've stopped himself.
Don't think of him as the person who got her, but as your friend and friend only.
You'll be ok :-)

Well, you said "fine" ... if you weren't actually fine with it and were going to get pissed, you should have said that to your friend in the first place. After all, if you can be honest will your friends, then with whom can you be? So, now you have to be a man about it and not take your anger out on your friend nor your ex.

You shouldn't be mad because you don't like her anymore right?
Wrong.
Try to make things work out again. If you broke up with her and she see's that your mad at her for going with your best friend, you would do nothing but confuse her. Maybe she's trying to get you jealous? Whatever it is, you need to talk to her.

If you said you were fine with it, then you really can't say much now. But that's definetly not a good friend if he went after your girl.

i personally probably wouldnt have said yes. thats kind of crappy for your friend to even ask. its just not proper to date your friends exes especially that close to the break up. i know that i would be kinda pissed if my friend started dating my ex.

You have the right to be upset with both of them actually. And he should be reminded of that guy code that I thought all of you lived by.
