I see these places on TV that advertise to get your credit report for free but every one I have been to once I have filled out all of the info suddenly they are asking for a credit card # to pay for it. I want to be able to check it at least once a year but is there a free place on line to do this?

I tried freecreditreport.com and they asked me for my credit card # at the end of it. I'll have to try it again and see.

OK maybe when I did it I tried to get it from all three places. I'll have to just pick one then and then it will be free?

I'll try that site freeannualcreditreport.com. I was just talking to my husband and he says the finance guy at his work will just run one up for me if I want. That one would have scores. I'll have to check that out too.

By law you're allowed one free report each year, but it doesn't have scores.
This site is AnnualCreditReport.Com - THIS IS THE ONLY official government allowed company that gives free reports.

www.freecreditreport.com .. it IS free because you can keep getting a report from one of the three agencies. To receive reports from all three agencies than you must pay.
