As you can see by the many excellent answers above, the terms are used in different ways in different contexts for different reasons.
Both words have many definitions and connotations.
The term "natural food" is part of the debate about what food packagers should be allowed to label their products.
Some people would argue that any food that is packaged is not "natural". Others would say that if it is grown without use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, that then it is natural. Others would argue that since almost all crops have been selectively bred by humans (some for thousands of years) that it is just about impossible to get "natural" crop plants now.
You have to study the context and dig deep to find out what the user of the term is trying to convey by the term.

I think natural means things which are found free in nature i.e they haven't been manipulated. Like something extracted from animals or plants or otherwise found freely in nature.
Artificial means the assembling(obviously by man) or mixing(or anything like that) of simple natural things to give some complex material which is not found freely in nature.
