As a photographer, I would suggest that pictures do not need words. Pictures stand on their own. Take your own pictures with your camera, crop them, enhance them by using the software that either came with your camera or go to CNET's download area and try the best rated shareware programs there.
Photoshop has a steep learning curve and the present version (CS2) costs $690; far from free.

if you got a pc then use mspaint! its free, you already got it cos its built into windows, its simple but you can edit and test what eva.

those are both photoshop like programs for FREE. You cant do everything, but its better than whatever came with your camera.
