Fruit enzyme scrubs tend to slough off dead skin cells which can make your complexion appear brighter and therefore somewhat lighter but any over the counter product is not going to make that much of a difference. I answered your other question about what products you can use to lighten your skin and I am concerned that you want to change your appearance - why are you not happy with yourself on the outside?

Perhaps it is the way you feel about yourself on the inside that needs some work. You are Muslim I guess and Muslims have a very nice skin tone - not too light and not too dark.. You should be proud to be a beautiful individual and embrace what makes you - you. Why do you want to change that? You can keep scrubbing and scrubbing but really - you will never be happy with any results because it is not the outside that needs work or change - it is your self esteem. Something has made you feel inferior to society or not happy with the way you look and I really think that you should think about what that is - what makes you feel like this?

There are cancer risks associated with skin bleaching products. The FDA issued a proposed ban in August of this year due to such and I would not take that risk when it is your self esteem that is suffering here - I am not trying to put you down at all but I think it is a shame that you are so unhappy with your face when it is you and that is what makes you beautiful - don't change that.

Fruit scrubs are good for your complexion and will brighten it but will not change it to another color. Nothing really will unless it is from a dr or has some kind of bleach in it. And that comes with a cancer risk - it is not worth it. Try to accept yourself for all that makes you - you - an individual. Everyone always wants what they don't have or thinks they would feel better " if only".. and then they get it nowadays through surgery and realize that they don't feel better - because it is not the outside - it is on the inside that matters.. that is what needs work.

I hope you try to work out why you feel this way and learn to accept your beauty as an individual - your skin the way you were born with it. And I would not use anything unless you speak to a dr first and even then - it is just a dr - it does not mean there are no risks. Look at all the drugs that have been pulled off the market after it was too late - after people died or got life threatening side effects from things that a dr prescribed.

Learn to love yourself on the inside and you WILL love yourself on the outside - I promise you that. Your skin color will not make you feel better about yourself - even though you think it will - it won't. Society leaves us all with these images of perfection in our heads and some women torture themselves their whole lives trying to live up to that image - that is airbrushed, starving and just fake - those things are not real... Don't be one of those women. Just be you.

The darker your skin the more patience required> takes longer to see a difference.
