It is ironic that something that helped usher sin and doom into the world (Eves sin) relates to something that helped restore mankind. (Jesus' death)

No, I've never though about that before, but that's a very interesting fact. Hmmmmm, I wonder what that's all about. I was watching the Count of Monte Cristo today, and there's a scene in there where the guy who plays Jesus in The Passion is in prison and another guy tunnels through the floor into his cell. The guy that comes through the floor looks like Dumbledor from Harry Potter, and I laughed sooo hard. It was like Jesus and Dumbledor were planning to escape from prison. LOL! Anyway back to your not-really-a-question. Um, yeah that's very interesting, however I assume it's merely a coincedence. Why would the people persecuting Jesus plan to stab him in the ribs as a symbol? Still very peculiar. I shall look into it.

so what is the question? God took a rib from Adam and fashioned eve. Jesus Christ our Lord was pierced in the side. They were checking to see if He had really died.

Wow, this is a freaky coincidence. It's like the Kennedy/Lincoln coincidence.
