My freind and i both want to join a boxing class or a kick boxing class. We're not way overweight but we could use to lose some pounds. My husband thinks you have to be skinny to start any of those classes.. is that true? where will they start us if we arent? thanks for the answers!

You don't have to be in shape to start training, you will actually get in better shape as you progress in class. They will start you with basic warmups and exercises and then teach you techniques in each class. It's really fun you won't regret taking those classes.

You do not need to be skinny to start those classes. They will start you at a beginner level. learn the moves. just you and the bag. As your skill improves then they will decide if and when you will be ready for a person on person.

*good luck **
