Search Fastweb that has a zillion scholarship choices. And go to this site I just found out about today, it's www.knoxvillecollege.com. You can get a nearly free education at this school which is one of the historically black colleges. It's a small private college in Tennessee and they might have provisions where you can keep the child with you. Check it out.

Depending on your income, FAFSA.ed.gov can provide a nice need based financial aid package from the federal government and the individual college. The college's financial aid office and its website is also a wealth of information on scholarships and available financial aid out there. Most states do offer grants for college students, so it becomes important to search for it via Google.com and Yahoo.com. Finally, there are free membership scholarship search engines out there with most of them being updated on a regular basis.
