Well...perhaps you ought to see a doctor to make sure they are really "common" warts (verruca vulgaris). There are several different types of warts. In the area you describe, they are a little suspicious for condyloma acuminata (HPV warts; transmitted sexually; i.e. an STD).

In any event, warts can be tough to get rid of. If you see a doctor, they can freeze it off and/or prescribe some medication you put on them for awhile.

Interestingly enough, it is fairly well known that putting Duct Tape over warts (completely covering them) for about a week is fairly effective at getting rid of common warts. Seriously!

Also, if they are common warts, you can use a nail file to file down the wart as much as possible (until it starts to hurt or bleed a little) and then apply over the counter Salicylic Acid. Repeat this filing/salicylic acid 1-2 times a day for a couple of weeks, and that is effective as well...

They are known to come back, unfortunately...

Home remedies for the sexually transmitted warts are not a good idea...you ought to see a doctor and get them taken care of.

In any event, a lot of people think they have warts and it turns out to be something else...so it would be a good idea to at least get them checked out before putting duct tape on your butt!
;)

Hope this helps...

Doctors can freeze them or burn them off. I have had success getting rid of warts using Castor oil on them. Just rub the oil on them several times a day and they disappear over a fairly short time weeks. No pain no scars, no kidding. My son used the oil on a planar wart on his foot, and it went away. I do not know why it works but it does.
