If you look at this questio from a Jewish point of view, YOU don't have to eat meat as a result of your sin. You would have to present your "sin offering" and confess your sins, then kill the lamb that you brought for an offering. It was then the priest's responsibility to take the blood into the sanctuary and to eat a piece of the lamb that you brought for a sin offering.

Fish was not an option as a sin offering. The offering depended on your status and wealth. Most people would be requires to take a lamb. Those too poor to have a lamb could take two turttle doves, or if you could not afford that some wheat flour. The sin offering had to be perfect. However, for the priests and alders, they were required to take a ram or a bullock.

Fish or chickens or eggs are not acceptable as sin offerings.

Eating meat a sin?
A wise rabbi once said that the desire to eat meat stems from the soul. We desire meat because we want to purify what G-d has made. It's actually a beautiful thing. The prohibitionsit depend on the kind of meat, how it is slaughtered and if it is combined with dairy not.
There is so sin in eating fish, fish has n prohibitions as long as it is a fish with scales and fins. Fish can be eaten cooked and uncooked.
As far as eggs go, thet're ok unless there is blood in the yolk.

It wasn't caused by sin, but by the flood wiping out all the produce. After the flood, God told Noah to eat meat, since there wasn't anything else.
