Do your teachers think you have a problem? If so have they ever contacted your parents about it? ADHD and ADD need to be diagnosed by a doctor. Frequently a teacher or counselor can suggest that a check up is in order.

I'm an adult with ADD who now teaches young people with the same challenges and personality tendencies. I'm not keen on the word "disorder" but have to admit those are the effects sometimes.
Remember your parents may be right. ADHD/ADD is a real and complicated neurological condition. It is not a "reason" to be rebellious or antagonistic.
If possible get a diagnosis. If you can't you need to help yourself and be as disciplined as you can, find systems to help you be organised and learn listening skills (none of this will come naturally which is why they must be learned and practiced.)
Ask your doctor or teachers for their advice and listen to them carefully.
And try these

And don't fret too much.

If you have trouble keeping up with stuff, remembering assignments, have trouble sleeping and relaxing, can't focus very long, can't finish a project.........etc.....You may be ADD
Some kids daydream alot.....that is the ones without the hyper part of ADD......I taught school for l4 years....so I know all about ADD and ADHD.....another sign is low grades but smart. So write down what makes you think you are ADD....and show your parents some online research...print it out....good luck.

Talk to your school counselor. Believe it or not school personnel are extremely good at 'diagnosing' ADD. They have tools and resources your doctor will not have. Good luck to you.

I'd say so... you don't even have enough attention span to use the space bar.
