Why is the best God (Godess) of Mythology ?Thor?Odin?Loki?Raa?Zeus?Hades?Poseidon?Athena?....Why???

There are too many to name, when one includes the minor gods and goddesses, as well as different forms of the same ones. However, the major ones where Zeus, Hera, Aries, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, Dionysus, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Poseidon, Demeter, Hades, and Hestia. Sometime Persephone is also considered a major one, but I personally don't. Some of the more significant minor ones would be Helios, who can also be considered to Apollo sometimes, Selene, who can be considered Artemis, and Eos, who is always just herself. My personal favorite is Astraea, which is the image of our Justice in courts with the scales and all. Ironically, as Moonshine mentions that Hestia was a goddess of wife hood, she never married and remained a Virgin Goddess, which is why you have the priestess's of her Roman counterpart, the Vestal Virgins.

Whose mythology? My all-time favorite goddess is Kali, closely followed by Saraswati. Gaia is also cool.

artemis. she is terrible in her rage and beautiful in her joy. she hunts in moonlight and her arrows are gentle like sleep, but bring the doom of death. she punished actaeon for his disrespect, but immortalized orion for his modesty and candor (after he brother had killed him with the scorpion). she is complex and contradictory, confident and scornful, fiercely loyal and quick on her feet. if not the best, i think she is one of the most interesting.
