I have recently read a response to a question that stated the rapture would most likley happen when there is a world wide nuke war! Why are christians so suicidal, and hell bent on this so called rapture? This rapture has been said to have been coming many times before? Why must we all die so you crazies can live in so called paradise? Dont you think god loves us all? Why are you jesus freaks so special? What about Jim BAker, Jim Swaggart, or a whole slue of criminal pervferted christians, what will happen to them. Or say the dal e lama? What will happen to him? what if say I lived a life pure as the driven snow but do not swallow the whole bible, Jesus thing. Will I be left behind?

Unfortunately yes you would praobably be left behind. But you would have choices to change your mind along the way. Christian who just call themselves Christians but do not live Christian lives will be in the same boat. Many will be surprised when they see who is gone and who is left.

You will get more flies with honey than with vinegar.

If you don't believe in Jesus. When the rest of us go in the rapture, you will be left behind to deal with the seven (7) years of tribulation.

It's your choice.

As for the people that pervert Christianity, they will answer for what they have done. You won't need to be concerned with them. You need to be concerned with yourself.

Jesus hasn't come yet because it's not time. God is waiting to save as many souls as possible. That is why He tarries.

It will happen in a twinkling of an eye...

John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Establish a relationship with Jesus and you might not get left behind.
Also, I have no desire to live forever. This is the only part of Christianity that I don't like.

Even if you lived a "life as pure as the driven snow" God will still send you to hell because you never bothered to accept his son's sacrifice, and to god this means you turned your back on him.

BTW we are not Jesus freaks, and I don't even know you but I don't want you or anyone to go to hell. This hell called life is bad enough as it is to get sent to a worse hell. Sent to a place devoid of hope.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
"But we do not want you to uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words."

Nothing about this is suicidal. These are words of comfort.
Know Christ, know peace. No Christ, no peace.

1 Thesalonians 5:1-2
"Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you.
For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night."

You are incapable of living a life "pure as the driven snow".

One sin, one lie, anything short of perfect sets you apart from a Holy God who cannot look upon sin.

That is why Christ came, to make us "white as snow".

Yes, if you do not know Christ, you will be left behind.

If you have not accepted Jesus then yes you will be left behind. That is what the bible says. And there are also many people who profess to be Christians who will be left behind also.

Christianity appears to be a religion of rewards in the afterlife. Since many people are not enjoying this life, the afterlife may be all they have to look forward to.

Most Christians think they are special because they were raised to be closed-minded: to put down non-believers, and to resist other possibilities....
