Wish I could answer exactly, but I KNOW there are spirit guides. I never go anywhere in a car without saying "in the name of God, sweet angels and loving Godly spirits surround us, guide us and protect us at all times, and keep our loved ones, pets and property safe". I also say a prayer a psychic told me many years ago: "As I open myself to the unseen forces that surround the Throne of Grace, Beauty and Light, I wrap around my husband, and myself ( and I usually put in all our loved ones, neighbors, pets and everyone on the road with us, etc., etc.) a white light and cloak of pure divine Godly protection safety and guidance that comes from the Love of God." I normally say this several times a day, WHENEVER I feel it's needed. We always have such wonderful protection from God, it's truly a miracle! I study Effortless Prosperity and Bijan often talks about his Spirit Guides. If you're interested, you might check it out on the internet. Spirit guides and angels are always with us, I do believe.

spirit guides are for the sole purpose of mediumship development
they are different from spirit guardians ( which many call guardian angels )
you can have many guides depending on the types of mediumship you are studying ( healing , physical , mental , inspirational writing etc )
spirit guides have lived before , but usually a long time ago
they are not people you would know , and you cant have animals as guides ( that is a native belief )
xx

for anyone to have proof of their guides , it is reccomended to be told by 3 seperate mediums of such people , for validation
as the usuall evidence you recieve about spirit you have known cannot be produced for guides ( since you did not know them in life )

Wow ~there's so much hostility towards Q's sometimes huh? Like people can't understand the concept "Agree to disagree". It's ok everyone, all is ok.
But they are supposedly guides that are invisible and silently "direct" us to where God thinks we should go. Sylvia Browne a world renowned psychic is the first time I"d heard of them, her site is called sylviabrowne.org~ she'll have more information for you. I know very little about them. But hey why not right? sort of like our own guardian angels guiding us (back) to God!:o] My view is we need all the help we can get.

Fallen angels duping mankind into thinking they're spiritual beings that will help them, when all the time they are not. Beings that will sometimes use people who are susceptible to the occult because of unhealthy involvement, often with their hearts in the right place, who need to feel important by thinking they are helping people. When all the time their involvement may be with fallen angels. Or because they have psychiatric problems and hear voices.

Don't eat a cake unless you know what's in it.

Or a dupe from people who want to make money from vulnerable people who are in sad situations.
