sure...go ahead...
just make sure you let your friend know in the rsvp so that they know how many will be at the reception.

Does your invitation say "and centred visitor" or basically "you"? If it says "and centred visitor" you may want to convey absolutely everyone you elect. if that's only for you, no longer in hardship-free words do you no longer elect a date, you mustn't convey a date! Weddings are very extreme priced, and the quantity of issues offered to feed/entertain the travelers can on occasion be very heavily calculated.

Does the invitation include you and a friend? You cannot just bring someone if the bride and groom did not specifically invite you and a guest. And it is rude to ask to bring someone. If the invitation says you and a guest, absolutely invite her. She will go if she is comfortable and decline if she is not. It will be a way for her to meet some of your friends and a way for them to meet her.

it would work out in your favor. it is a way to spend time together, plus she could meet your family. take her on a date first and if goes well, take her to the wedding. dont make the wedding the first date, that will not work out at all.

How comfortable are you with this young lady?

General rule of thumb is that this is a RELATIONSHIP KILLER if the other party doesn't love as deeply or is early in the relationship and thinks it is going way too quickly...

If your invite said you and a guest then do it. she'd probably have a good time at the reception and it would give her a good idea of who you are by seeing you with your friends.
