The continental inside of me says a lasagne but it must have a wonderful glass of fine Italian red wine to go with it.
Mind you, granny's Shepherds Pie on a Sunday was always tough to beat.....happy days.

Shepards pie is easier to cook however a lasagne is more paletable with wine if you're cooking for guests. Italian food my choice if entertaining.
Enjoy.

Lasagne, especially from Mama Rosa's in Cullercoats (bet none of you have been there!). Prefer garlic mushrooms to garlic bread or better still, potato skins! Washed down with a good bottle of very cold colombard or chenin blanc.

I love minced lamb, better than minced beef. It certainly tastes better, and I only like shepherds pie if it's made a certain way. So I'll go for lasagne [made with minced lamb].

Lasagne,I don't like the taste of shepherds unless they've been thoroughly washed first.

Shepherds pie. With succulent lamb mince, juicy sauce and slightly crisp potato topping... yum!
By the way, it's 11pm - a little late for dinner?! I'm guessing you must be in the US.. or else just late
