If they are, and they have sex before marriage, are there any laws that punish men as harshly as the women are punished. Can a man be stoned to death by his mother for breaking the laws of chastity in Islam? Are there honor killings of men who have sex before marriage? What proof can a woman demand of her future husband to prove he is a virgin? I just wanna know.

I am not a christian anymore. i basically think all religons were written by men for the benefit of men. Ignorance is everywhere and when people do atrocities in the name of their religons, they're stupid.

Yes, they are supposed to be virgins on the grounds that sex before out of wedlock is forbidden to both men and women. By the way, the stonings were a Jewish practice that Muhammad (pbuhhf) rejected. It is never mentioned in the Qur'an. Honor killings are never mentioned either. Whoever carries out these acts is following cultural laws, not Islamic ones. There isn't really much proof of a man's virginity, so there really isn't any proof to be called upon. Threoretically, a man could lie and marry after looseing his virginity, but he's not supposed to.

i am going to replica a similar answer I somewhat have given to this "question" some situations already tonight. . . definite it is faulty. notwithstanding it isn't marriage. those children are bought for "bride presents" of money. And below Muslim regulation the marriages are literally not consumated until eventually after the girl reaches puberty (it is why below the initial ruling suggested she might want to no longer search for a divorce until eventually puberty). it isn't a baby sex element as maximum folk seem questioning a lot because it is a variety of nonsexual slavery. EDIT: also when you consider that human beings seem to imagine it is a phenomenon in difficulty-free words to center eastern international locations, so that you comprehend it is likewise easy practices in a number of of international locations in Africa and South Asia and definite even in the solid ole united states. In some non secular sects (in a number of of situations polygamous) right here a woman might want to be married before 14. apparently because i did not flow eww ill and state data i'm getting a thumbs down. yet i'm very nearly prepared to wager i'm between the few human beings on right here which have somewhat carried out something about this both years I worked with Amnesty global on females and children subject matters.

Hmmm. It is not required not only for men but also for women. It is a personal choice. Regarding the examples you are giving, I am sure you do have some ignorant people in Christian society as we have in Muslim society.

Yea right, men would never be held to those standards, they can do what they want and have to answer to no one. I really don't think there is a test to verify if a man is a virgin...

No, only the women have that requirement. In Muslim countries it is both legal and popular to have sex with young boys, since premarital sex with females is considered immoral

I don't think either Islam or Christianity is really fair to women in these terms. Christianity, for example, calls for a woman to be stoned to death if she is not a virgin on her wedding night.
