Over the years, I've known people who were very physically attractive but never made an issue of it. In fact, many of them were offended that others were seeing only the outside "beauty", and weren't taking the time to get to know the person as a whole. (In other words, looking only at the book's cover.) They would tell others that "what's on the inside is more important" to get the point across. So no, it's not just for the appearance challenged.

Yes, I believe it is what counts. So long as you are not so bad
looking, imagine yourself married to a most beautiful woman.
Would you be jealous, confident or, with the passing of time
when the heat of first love is over, would you still be secure,
would you be able to count on her if you became gravely sick?
This is when the inside shows it‘s better face. Trust is more
important than looks. Think about it from that angle and I
believe that you will agree, there are so many true tales that
prove the theory to be correct. I wish you well. Cheers, Iain
PS this will lead you to think that I am ugly, better think twice.

Um, no, you at the instant are not top. The word "fat" would not unavoidably propose which you're "grotesque". There are quite some "fat" people obtainable that are relatively attractive. you do no longer might desire to be skinny just to be rather. I hate the term "fat" via fact at present, in this worldwide, it provides off lots of adverse thinking whilst the word is implied. and that i do no longer basically like the word "grotesque" the two, via fact no person and not something is grotesque in this worldwide. in case you think of there is, nicely, i've got faith sorry for you, via fact who're you to decide others? till now you initiate off pointing hands, make valuable your own hands are sparkling first. Sorry for going over board with this answer, yet I merely had to to make valuable I clarified what I felt grew to become into top. Peace , Love , Happiness <3

absolute rubbish!! as a good looking and confident woman with a great personality i can say with honesty that the only thing that counts is a persons spirit and personality. my son had a large birth mark on his face and had to under go major plastic surgery. he is the most outgoing and loving kid ever . peoples obsession with looks is so upsetting to me. imagine people looking in your baby's pram and uttering rude and hurt full comments. i have seen the worst side of many people and experienced the kindness of people who can see past disfigurement. looks fade, love doesn't.
anyone who thinks looks are the most important thing in life should take a good look at themselves in the mirror and see how shallow and ignorant they are.
anyway ugliness shows from the inside, and beauty cannot be hidden even by an " ugly " face.

Who the F**K'S Ricki Lake Some peice of sh*t that plays counsellor to a load of contrived human predicaments such as my wife sleeps with a Great Dane dog instead of me for better sex. And you quote that? I'll tell you one thing, you've got a lot of growing up to do.

Not at all. A phrase only used by people who are good and decent on the inside.

No, it's a Gods honesty truth. A person can be as pretty as they come, if her of his personality is ugly, they won't be popular. Okay its a person's looks that attract strangers for starters, but just until they get to know that person better. The big secret is self confidence (but nót arrogance). If you firstly love and respect yourself, your attitude will show it and people will stop seeing any flaws you may have.

Not in my opinion! Because it is a fact I had much rather spend time with someone interesting, kind and thoughtful than one who is beautiful on the outside but doesn't care about anyone or anything but herself. By the way I am both good looking ( I have been told ) and practical, I accept by personality not beauty.

I think what's on the inside does count most because looks fade but you always have what's inside and it makes a not so good looking person beautiful.
