I have a really particular style that I want. I have long hair and I want it to be REALLY choppy so that when I straighten it, it's tons of different lengths. I always tell my hairdresser that I want a lot of layers, but it never comes out the way I want it to. Anybody have any suggestions other than just telling them I want lots of layers? Pics would be appreciated too.

Tell the hairdresser you want alot of random choppy layers, so that when you straighten it it looks like you have a lot of random choppy layers.

i ask for short, medium and a little bit of some long layers cut at angles, texturized for volume purpose as well as tell her where you want your shortest layer and same with eyery layer so you get the desired look you want. try the following website: stellure .com on which you create a 3 D image of your face, you get to pick the new hairstyles of 2006 and so forth.

Well when you go to your hairdresser show her a picture of your hair now so she can see the difference and show her a pic of how you want it when you straiten it then maybe she will get an idea of what to do !!

go to your hairdresser and tell them you want it layered/choppy. and they will know what you are talking about

Go to a very exquisite salon for a very talented artist to do his/her best. Explain what you are wanting. They may have magazines on hand to look through.
Take lotsa pictures (provided they did well & you are pleased)
Go to your regular stylist and say "keep my hair like this" and you will probably be happy with this new, trendy style that will no doubt be very flattering and control your hair like you need it.

Maybe ask for it choppy and tell them to cut it with razors - I ahve done that and it looks cute.

When you get your hair cut tell her what you want: Many diffrent layers so when you part your hair it'll be awsome

You can flip the ends......when your drying your hair then take the circle brush until it flips.........good-luck!
