Most people raise questions in order to learn, while some raise questions to cause dissent.
Though we may not agree with a certain idea, or belief, I believe it not only fundamental, but of utmost importance to allow individuals the right to personal opinion and belief.
Knowing that when we bring our beliefs out in the open, we should also be prepared for debate and criticism, as not everyone will agree with everyone.
I also believe that to force someone to accept your belief or opinion is a violation of that persons rights to self preservation, and belief.
That said, so long as you are not violating anothers rights to life, liberty, and happiness, then as long as the public is not affected by force, you have the right to choose to adhere too, anything you wish, believe as you wish, and live or die as you wish.

A vote: The government would not put an issue such as immigration to a vote because they are welll aware what the answer will be. I cannot see how anyone can be pro immigration. There are limits. Why do all these liberals feel that a multicultural society is this wonderful utopia when it is just going to do is cause more tension and trouble. I find other cultures fascinating and have travelled extensively around the world. But why this need to mixed everyone in. Identity is what defines each country. Are these liberals hoping to blend all races, beliefs and nationalities into one. How dull!

I think the word "racist" is used too liberally sometimes. Like most people I am against illegal immigration and people who aren't willing to integrate into the British way of life or who wish us and our children dead. That's not racism. Can you blame people for becoming more opinionated after the atrocities of 7/7, 9/11 and the more recent bombings plotted against us? Not to mention muslim clerics ranting their hatred against us on the streets whilst claiming benefits. As for cruel questions of a racist nature against blacks, asians whoever, I do not condone those at all as I have friends of different colours and race and muslim friends. But also have you ever stopped to think it's not just white people who are racist? My husband was a bus driver until recently and he was called "white trash" and "white honky" just because he wouldn't let someone on the bus for free and was doing his job. This happened many times over a period of 3 years. All I'm saying basically is that everyone can be racist whatever their colour.

Everyone gets discriminated against in their lives one way or another. I have been the "victim" of so called positive discrimination with the person who got the job leaving after about a month because they could not do the job. I was furious when I found out.
I have also been spat at and been given verbal abuse because I'm white.
It works both ways.
Voice your opinion while you can.
I don't like drug users or drug dealers (narcotics), scum of the earth if you ask me. This is pedjudice against that class of people. If it is not one thing then it will be something else.
It either stems from fear of what you don't understand or a bad experience at the hands of a certain section of society or the potential of a bad experience happening.
Which ever way you look at it, there will be prejudice of one sort or another

I'm sorry you feel hurt by the remarks given on this forum regarding race, unfortunately we all have opinions regarding this subject. Abusive comments about individuals (assumed name or not is unforgivable) so are comments about the race of an individual, hopefully, you and others reading this will agree. Abuse is not to be tolerated. Of course, if that race is committing atrocities or is carrying out acts not in keeping with human rights it is necessary to speak out and shame that race or individual. Sometimes you have to separate concern from racialism, many English people are concerned at the numbers coming into this country, me included, you must remember that the English were hear first. When you put it like that it makes me want to apologise for my behaviour but there is no doubt that the numbers of immigrants in to this country are getting larger by the day so I would be appologising for telling the truth. The only way to change things or deal with peoples fears is to discuss the matter openly without fear of persecution.

I agree with you. You can have a debate about immigration and multiculturalism and even disagree with one another, but some people on here are so aggressive. It's a bit like witch trials mixed in with the klu klux klan and the homophobia on here is getting worse too.
I'm not a do gooding liberal at all, i think i am a realist. If people fear overcrowding or cultural conflicts, then fine discuss it.
It works all ways. I am an atheist. I don't go round telling people off for believing. When i try to have a debate about it, i am sometimes told to stop being so stupid and sworn at! from some(only a few) of the so called believers.
i think some people are simply incapable of reasoned debate.
It is hardly worth answering the sort of questions you described above , as they are not really questions, but statements with a ? on the end.

No you're not. I feel exactly the same way. Sometimes I answer and sometimes I don't. It all depends on how I am feeling at the time.
Every person on this planet has something to offer, something to share. When we allow crap like skin colour and religion to cloud our vision or do not analyse beyond what the media want us to see. The end result is questions like those that you take the precious time out of your day to answer.
Every saint has a past, every sinner has a future. I would like to be able to say that I was raised this way and always thought this way, but I wasn't. I have had my own bigoted, racist and downright ignorant lines of thought in the past (and I am sure and am glad that I still do - there is always more to learn!) but thinking things through a little more deeply changed that. It was my method of thinking that I neeeded to change, not necessarily just what I thought. How I got there was as important as what conclusion I reached. And some things just became indefensible and totally illogical. Having my views challenged changed that.
I wrote in another answer that even though I am past my teens now, I still have acne. I now love my acne because it reminds me that I am not perfect. And neither is anyone else.
Please continue to try to challenge, educate and provide an alternative. Striving to be a better person and to love others as I would like to be loved is my greatest challenge. Apologies if I rambled a bit but it is Friday and I have had a number of drinks at a leaving do! Peace. OC.

You cant change peoples minds on here but the good thing is you can voice your opinions. Look people sometimes dont know, they come here ask questions and get called racists. Some people are racists and will admit it. I got called racists for asking what is the percentage of drop outs for children whos parents are illegal? I didnt say race, age, nothing but I was called a racist, So I think all you can so is answer the question read and laugh about some of the things that people say on here. Taking it personal is just stupid and ignorant and will waste a lot of your energy! just laugh at the ignorance, voice your opinion and move on. Cheers Mate!

I am sometimes shocked that some of the questions have even been allowed or not been reported. I do not answer them it is only fueling their fire so to speak the more answers the better kick they get and will post up more "moron" questions.
They are also very hot potoato questions and people get burnt the ones who put them do not care they do it to provoke, make fun and think it is big. Have you noticed the ones who do it are nearly always on level one and are on their minus points already.
To answer your question No do not bother.
