Why would anyone want to date a person they have a lot in common with? That would just get borring and is like dating yourself. I say date someone who's your opposite, because they're more unpredictable and its just more fun.
So stick with your current boyfriend.

Personally I don't think anyone should have a "boyfriend" until they are in their late 20's. why? for this very reason. Why restrict yourself to ONE person when there are so many out there that may "click"?

You should be out there casually dating a lot of guys and finding out who does and doesn't have a lot in common with you.

So... gently tell your current bf that you are taking a break from relationships for the next few years and then just see who lights your fire!!!

good luck!

If you can't commit, then don't.

There'll always be men out there you find a lot of things in common if you try really hard to come up with a list. It comes down to whether you're happy with what you have right now.
