I am making a Sub box for my '03 dodge ram 1500 4x4 reg cab truck. I'm using one 10" sub, will it sound weird if I mounted it behind one of the seats? I was thinking of doing that and facing the sub twards the other seat. Would it throw the bass off to one side more or what.

No it won't matter. Bass is non-directional, meaning that the ear can't tell the direction it is coming from. So putting it anywhere or any direction in the cab is fine.
Far more important is air flow. Dont face the woofer into the back wall or directly into the seat back. if you have to, then leave yourself an inch or two of clearance for the air to move through. visualize trying to squeeze some light foam or baffle material through the space. If it is hard, then you need a bigger gap.

i dont think it would matter but the only thing u can do is try it right? i have a 89 f-150 and it has 2 12' kenwoods and they are both centered and it sounds good but before i had a 10' ma audio and it sat in the passenger seat and it didnt sound to bad.
