Forgive me for my sudden fascination with the concept of rules...

Whose rules do you follow--not rules would you *like* to be following, but rules you consistenly follow in your daily life? Why these?

I don't follow rules, because I guess I just don't see a point in organized religion. I have values, and Morales that I guess my mom instilled in me, and opinions on what doesn't make sense. I was raised a Buddhist but never actually consider myself a follower of it, but practice the belief system in every day situations. For example, I believe in Karma, what goes around comes around. I believe that if you concentrate and think positive, make good causes, you will get a good effect. I don't believe in any way that I am perfect or that by me associating myself with a certain religion or group that I am better then anyone else.

Principles & guidelines found in the Bible help to improve the quality of life. I won't call them rules, tho.

I follow my own. I have common sense enough to know right from wrong and that there are consequences to all my actions.

I think that's pretty much what everyone needs to know to function well.
