Because they want an answer quick and they don't want to spend a lot of time replying. In fact, I'm probably the 4th or 5th response because I took the time to type right.

Get used to it.
Also, the ridiculous internet shorthand, like 2 for "to" and "too" and 4 for "for", etc.
Depressing.
