Especially if he is jealous? Psycologicly, Jealousy is a sign of insecurity and doubt in yourself. How can somthing that is perfect have this type of flaw?
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Oh so now we are supposed to interpret the word jealous to fit into the definition of what God is, and not the actual definition of the word?

Who are we to question him? Give me a break. There have been questions about God since he was first thought up. The basis of every religion is questioning. If no one asked questions about religion then there would be no religions to adhear to.
For example: 2000 B.C. " Why did the ground just shake and move?"(question)
Answer: "Dunno, must have been some pissed off guy in the sky" BANG, new religion.

hes not.
thik of it this way, its like trying to balance a soda can on top of a needle. if you get it so the can stays then youve basically perfectly positioned the can.
god is a can :D
god is perfect. now if god is perfect then no new information or ANYTHING at all can move him. he cannot interact with us because, much like that can on top of that needle, if even the slightest wind comes by the can is going to fall of.
for god to remain perfect he cannot interact with us or anything.
its a strange comparison i know but gimme a break, its off the top of my head.

Why, knowing this, will still committing sins? If its knowing it, What would it be if He let us blind of acknowledgment? Why do we love to do the forgiven things? God is so perfect He gave us free will, so you are responsible for what you do. Why to try to prove that God doesn't exit we always a point our own mistakes? There are a lot of more proves about God's existences than the proves denying so? How can we explain a person who fell from a 6 floors building and stills alive? How can you explain a person who was prognosticated with cancer and after accepting God in her/his life a few months later in another medical examination doctor can't find even a little vestige of cancer? How do you explain that a little boy is declared dead and when the forensic agent is moving him to the morgue suddenly he becomes alive and when somebody call the parents to give the good news they were praying for their boy? Perhaps remember that the Bible was written by people, who can make mistakes and the words you are ridding in an actual Bible wern't the very same ones used back then, Do you have any idea how many times and in how many languages the Bible have been wrote and translated? There's always something missing in the translations.
Does it change something if God isn't perfect? Suppose He's not perfect, Wouln't this fact bring Him closer to you? What could change if you can prove that God isn't perfect? Could Him be more human that we suppose? So that's means He would become like my father, who I know loves me and want the better for me, but he's not perfect, that doesn't change the matter that I love him too. So I love God and his Son, doesn't matter how perfect they are.

God is the only perfect being in my religion. For us being humans, and him being the only perfect divine figure, We could not understand the perplexity of perfection.

Your idea of jealousy is not necessarily the type of jealousy that God feels. God wants what is best for you, and what is best for you is Himself (that is, if Christianity is true), so He wants your attention.
That's my opinion, anyway.

Who says jealousy is an imperfection?
This is using a mortal human's (ours') perception of an emotion.

He made heaven and earth and all that's within....don't you think He has a right to be what He wants to be. We weren't there when He created anything, so who are we to question Him?

He wants us to be obedient to his laws for our own good.
If you knew your children were listening to a wicked man down the street wouldn't you warn them? By saying Please come to me, I am your father and it bothers me when you go talk to them.
They are giving you wrong advice.
