The last Pew Hispanic estimate was 11 million, but I have seen credible looking numbers up to 20 million and less credible looking numbers up to 30 million.

20-30 million which is almost 10% of the population!
Illegal status is actually better. You don't have to pay taxes, you get free healthcare, you don't get drafted or have to serve, you don't have to vote (decide between 2 a#$holes), plenty of under the table jobs, and all the candidates pander to you. I'm switching to illegal ASAP!

Just think of a day without illegal immigrants...no waiters, no maids, no cooks on and on...and Washington is doing nothing to stop it...
