and i dont know if he is trying to get back with me and i would like to know the answer to this and so i would know what to do. we dated for 3 yrs and then he dated this crazy chick and they stayed together for a while and then they broke up and then he calls me out of the blue so what do i do

It probably sounds like a good idea to get back together with him but really you went out with him for 3 years already. I know you probably miss him but don't you think something new would be better? There are a lot of good guys out there you just have to find them.

I don't either. If you want to ride it out do. Be friends and see where it takes you if that's what you want. Don't jump right into it, because he's your ex for a reason adn you don't want it to happen again. Trust your heart and your gut and if you want to wait it out and see what happens, by all means do.

I'm not sure how your weekend went, but don't ever believe a guy who says "I love you" while they are in bed with you. Unless he has said it before and sex wasn't involved.
